It is now just ten years ago that Raja Deekshithar, my teacher, best friend, beloved and Inspiration, left his mortal body on the 30th of June 2010. Although I miss him every day, the past ten years have also been another learning experience that has given me new insights and new perspectives. I now once again step into my own vision, my own direction, my own journey. All the richer for his teachings and his vision on all aspects of life and tradition. I am reminded of the one time we climbed the East Gopuram of the Shiva Nataraja temple in Chidambaram, into which tradition he was born and brought up. Seeing the whole complex all at once gave a completely new perspective, the helicopter view. As I remember our life together and cherish his memory, I now look towards the future. I intend to develop and share the many discoveries and insights that had germinated from our travels and discussions. As well as that which has grown in my mind these past ten years, and in the years to come.
